This interview presents information about the New Mexico Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification opportunity offered by the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH), Office of Community Health Workers (OCHW). Ms. Diana Abeyta, OCHW Tribal Liaison, offered some background of the CHW Certification efforts and current process for applying, receiving, and maintaining certification.
